Kathleen Donohue brings 20 years experience in project management to her role as an instructor and consultant at the Griffin Tate Group. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), she has been engaging clients in the classroom for over eight years with her expansive knowledge of the discipline, coaching abilities and enthusiasm.
Specializing in project management and team building training, Kathleen is a PMI® Charter Registered Education Provider. She is also a frequent trainer of Essential Skills for Managing Projects (which has been a PMI® SeminarsWorld® offering since 2000), leadership, risk and MS Project.
Blending practical know-how with best practices, Kathleen draws upon her professional experience as a manager, project manager, consultant and independent trainer in various organizations and consulting firms. She has worked with project managers and functional managers around the world to improve project management processes and project team performance by coaching and teaching project management tools and techniques including communication, motivation and team-building skills. Prior to building her project management expertise, Kathleen spent 14 years on Wall Street, working for various firms in trading and operations.
Kathleen Donohue is an active member of the Project Management Institute and serves on the education committee of the PMI® Delaware Valley Chapter. In this capacity she provides instruction at Villanova, Rowan and Millersville Universities as well as for corporate clients. She is the editor and developer of the core courses for these programs. Kathleen is also a member of the American Society for the Advancement of Project Management. She is a graduate of Baruch College of the City University of New York where she holds a bachelor’s degree (BBA) in human resources.
