I need contact hours to obtain a PMI credential. Do Griffin Tate Group courses meet this requirement?

Griffin Tate is a Global Registered Education Provider. All of our courses provide PDUs or contact hours.

Will Griffin Tate deliver courses on-site at my company?

If your company has a group of 10 or more employees to train, we can schedule a private course at your company’s site. You can find a list of available courses on the on-site training page of this site. For more information contact Robin  Snyder at 513.563.3545 Ext. 2.

How can I qualify to attend Train the Trainer?

First, you must complete an application form. Then attend a GTG Essential Skills for Managing Projects workshop to gain a thorough understanding of the CORE Project Management® Method and how it is taught. To obtain an application form, call 513.563.3545 Ext. 2. Call for locations and dates of the TTT workshop.

What will I learn at your Train the Trainer workshop?

You will learn and become certified to teach four of the Griffin Tate Group's project management workshops, including: 1) Essential Skills for Managing Projects; 2) Getting Started in Project Management; and 3) Essential Skills for Sponsoring Projects. Each of these workshops is designed to develop project management core competency throughout all areas of your organization. The TTT program allows your organization to optimize the effectiveness of both the instructor and the employee by providing cost effective, continuous in-house training and mentoring resources for project teams and individuals.

What can I expect out of your Train the Trainer course?

Expect to spend five days in a small class (six people maximum), in a relaxed, casual atmosphere having fun learning to teach the Griffin Tate CORE Project Management® Method. We will review the materials in Essential Skills for Managing Projects, Getting Started in Project Management, and Sponsoring Projects, discuss key learning points, learn how sections interrelate, note points to teach in the exercises, and go over other pertinent project management issues. You will complete a case example to present in class, using a project of your choice. Additionally, you will practice teaching segments of the Essential Skills workshop.

How long does it take to complete a workshop?
Griffin Tate courses are aligned with the PMI R.E.P. standard of one PDU awarded for every one hour of structured learning activity.
For example, a 21 PDU course is a 21 hour duration effort.
